Offering a traditional fun-filled camping experience, Camp Kaizen is a five week residential fitness and weight loss camp for young girls ages 10 to 15. Located in beautiful Vermont, our low Staff to Camper ratio means we can concentrate on each young girl individually.
Our 2010 summer session runs from June 27th through July 31st. At Camp Kaizen we return our Campers to what summer camp was like in the 1950’s—lots of fresh air, fun activities, and making new friends! We teach the girls fun and healthy ways to get into better physical shape. Most of what they learn is geared to be easily done at home with little monetary investment. Camp Kaizen supplies training and equipment to help our Campers continue their successful new lifestyle habits when they return home.
Campers spend their day doing lots of fun and physical activities like canoeing, kayaking, biking, hiking, dancing, archery, Pilates, fitness classes, swimming, ultimate Frisbee and much, much more. Campers also make great use of their “quiet” time with activities like arts and crafts, reading, gardening and cooking classes along with down time for just taking a break or writing home. With all the great food and fun activities, our Campers lose an average of two to five pounds per week.
Our specially-trained staff ensure each Campers experience is memorable, fun and safe. Family-style meals, overnight camp outs, night time chats, camp fires, songs, movie nights and other shared times cement friendships and new lifestyle habits that last a lifetime. Camp Kaizen has an atmosphere of sharing and caring; resulting in Campers with improved self-respect and respect for others, as well as increased confidence. We, here at Camp Kaizen, are here to help our Campers realize and succeed in achieving their goals.
