Get ready for extreme outdoor adventures! Jump into structured rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, orienteering, camping, mountaineering, and mountain biking. If you are 13 -17 years of age and think you are ready for something new and challenging, this camp is for you. With some of Canada’s best rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking terrain, Whistler is an adventure seeker’s dream. You will join a small group of teens from around the world who, like you, are ready for more than what a standard summer camp offers.
You’ll learn important survival skills and first aid before heading off with staff and campers on a three-day wilderness sleepover in the Coastal Mountains. You will also learn back country trip planning skills including gear selection, packing, meal planning, wilderness safety and first aid. Mountain biking skills from top Whistler riders and will help test your skills in the world famous Whistler Mountain Bike Park. On certain weekends you have the option to try summer skiing and snowboarding on the Blackcomb Mountain Glacier. And when you are ready to cool off, you will head to the lake for your kayak lessons and a whole lot of fun!
