Description:
Camp Galil is a 60 year old Zionist camp modeled on the Kibbutz. All camp activities - sports, swimming, scouting, ecology, hiking, arts and crafts, Israeli dance, ropes course - are infused with informal progressive Jewish and Zionist educational content and teach sharing and community building.
Campers' daily participation in camp maintenance reinforces their identification with the camp community. Staffed by Habonim Dror college role models and Israelis, Camp Galil continues to be a springboard for lifelong personal friendships, Jewish affiliation, Zionist identification, community involvement and memories of tons of fun.
